NEW V/H/S: Viral poster looks like a bloody good time!

I wish I could say otherwise, but honestly, I wasn’t a huge fan of the first V/H/S film.. It only really took until seeing the second film, V/H/S/2, that I came to understand how completely messed up the series truly is, and how much I actually somewhat enjoy least, for the concept that they portray on screen. Now, with V/H/S: Viral available on VOD and in [limited] theaters, Magnet [the guys who release the V/H/S movies: as well as other great films] decided to go ahead and give us a final poster that is shown to have a group of skateboarders fighting against a hoard of the undead. This specific poster was created by Evan Yarbrough, and it looks fan-fucking-tastic! [see more of his work here]

Evan‘s poster tells me that the movie is going to be a BLOODBATH..

In this sequel, there’s [obviously] a new tape, which features even more segments which are directed by Marcel Sarmiento, [who is known for his incredible, but extremely fucked up film: Deadgirl] Nacho Vigalondo [who directed Timecrimes, which I still need to see], Gregg Bishop [known for the incredibly strange Dance Of The Dead], as well as movie makers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead; who just released their newest film: Spring.

most likely the segment the poster is based on. considering Death and skateboarders in the background.

V/H/S: Viral is bound to turn heads, with the way it’s trailer is shot, and the way that everything seems like it’s going to be as fucked as the first ones before it. As for me, I’ll probably see the film; just to say I did, [I did see the first and second movies] but whether or not I enjoy them – that’s another story. For those that haven’t seen the trailer for the film, or don’t know anything about it: I’ve included the plot and the trailer below.

“A police chase after a deranged ice cream truck has captivated the attention of the greater Los Angeles area. Dozens of fame—obsessed teens flock to the streets with their video cameras and camera phones, hell—bent on capturing the next viral video. But there is something far more sinister occurring in the streets of L.A. than a simple police chase. A resounding effect is created onto all those obsessed with capturing salacious footage for no other purpose than to amuse or titillate. Soon the discovery becomes that they themselves are the stars of the next video, one where they face their own death.”

How ’bout you horror fans out there? Are you going to go see the newest installment in the V/H/S series? why or why not? let me know in a comment or two! Also, why not check out warrenisweird on Facebook? It’s all sorts of fun over there, and it’s just as weird! [I assure you, that’s a good thing] As well as all my new posts going up as soon as they’re posted here, I sometimes post things that aren’t found on the actual website! every like counts and it’d mean a hell of a lot to me too!
